If you’re a fan of Netflix’s reality show « Dubai Bling, » you’ll recognize this cozy café. It’s an ideal place to relax with a refreshing smoothie and snap a story for your social media.

Further down the wide alleys of Al Seef, you’ll find Wokyo, a fantastic noodle bar located at the corner. Wokyo serves delicious dishes, and I highly recommend the chicken gyozas with their excellent soy sauce – it was so good, I even drank it! 

Another charming aspect of Wokyo is the delivery guy, who generously feeds the stray cats in the area. It’s another great reason to dine here and support their kind efforts.

Practical Tips for Shoppers

When shopping in Al Seef, it’s best to pay in cash as many vendors do not have card terminals. Most shops also accept foreign currencies, making it convenient for tourists. 

Some shopkeepers can be a bit insistent, especially when the area is not crowded, while others are eager to share their products and get to know you. I recommend visiting the shop run by three women from the Philippines, offering adorable keychains, colorful jewelry, and reasonably priced souvenirs.

If you’re staying near the creek, you can take an abra, a traditional boat, for just two dirhams. These boats cross the creek every fifteen minutes, offering a scenic and budget-friendly option to reach Al Seef.
